Musical Theatre Classes

This fall, the Music Academy of York is keeping kids busy with two musical theatre classes: Mid-week Musical Theatre (ages 8–12) starting September 11, where they’ll learn everything from auditions to choreography and put on A Dickens of a Christmas, and a Sunday Christmas Musical (ages 7–13) kicking off September 7, built around All About That Baby with angels, shepherds, and yes, talking sheep leading to a December show.

What Our Students Say

Hear from Our Happy Families

See how our music and arts instruction has inspired our students and families.

Kate Bruni Music Academy Testimonial
“A friend introduced us to Ms. Sandy, and we are so thankful she did. My daughter has been taking piano lessons from her for over a year now and we could not be more happy with her progress. She is playing well but most of all she enjoys it and is proud of her progress. Ms. Sandy shares her years of experience to guide her students with knowing the piano, reading music, teaching proper piano etiquette, and encouraging them for their own success. Ms. Sandy shows great skill and passion for the musical arts and passes that on to her students. My daughter was also blessed to participate in her theatre productions (last summer and another for the Christmas past season). Both of those experiences were outstanding and exposed our daughter to the theatre arts that we would otherwise not had known. We are thrilled that she is apart of the Red Lion community. “

Sandy Pietrowicz is a phenomenal piano teacher.  She is wonderful with kids and keeps them engaged.  She has taught my son for 7 years, ever since he started at age 4.  She now teaches my daughter also, and loves to broaden their musical horizons with fun ensembles.  I can’t recommend her enough!

After just one lesson, I felt more confident in my singing, and even my choir noticed the difference.

Erikson
“My kids take guitar and piano lessons at Music School of York. They love their teachers and are learning so quickly. Because the lessons are so great, they are eager to practice at home. They also did the summer music camp which was so fun. They are learning to love music which is the best and they’re also learning to make music which is a nice bonus. “
